Decided my sewing machine is a little iffy so tomorrow I'm going out to buy a fancy, new one! Can't wait. And maybe I'll find some sewing classes to occupy my time left in Oregon, as well. Really need to get a move on this whole San Fran business but we're waiting for the FASFA stuff to be sorted out first. Annoying. I just want to get down there already and come back to be with my boy!
Took mom to the bookstore with me today, and we found some good picks! A book full of lingerie patterns and projects (finally, something to play with while I wait for my other patterns), another book teaching you everything you need to know about the art of sewing, and a self-starter business book. I think I've purchased somewhere around 8 books in the last month related to fashion, lingerie, or some sort of crafting. LOVE it.
My throat is hurting. Ugh. Time to drink some tea and get to bed at a decent hour for once!

yep! i made a romper and a bra today, the bra didn't turn out so great. but the romper is cute! just using test fabric for now because i'm trying to teach myself. it's very time consuming!
