Been at the computer since about 2:30 this afternoon searching websites, reading guidelines, typing essays, answering questions, submitting forms and checking off checklists...all that's left are a few more financial forms to be sent in, another letter of recommendation, and proof of enrollment. Applying for a Hispanic Scholarship, a few creative contests including one for photography, FIDM Merit Scholarship and, finally, FIDM Visual Designer of Tomorrow. The last one should be quite the venture. Have yet to get started on it...a 4 part application including big story boards for spring fashion inspiration, a magazine layout, storefront display, and floor plan for an existing national retail store. SHEESH.

Decided my goal is to get a crap load of moolah to help out with school, go back to work for the few months I have left here, save hopefully around 5K to help with a few months worth of apartment rent in San Fran, and maybe a bit more to get myself a new car...on my own. My credit should be good enough and as long as I have a job and some savings it cant be THAT hard to buy a little Kia or something stupid. Anything beats the beast of a car I'm driving now. Hmm. So much to be accomplished.
One step at a time. First: get a good job again.
