I must say the chapstick turned out wonderful. I think we discovered the secret to THEE lip plumper...a crap load of peppermint oil! Most likely burning my lips alive and leaving them so swollen that they are stuck in the plump and upright position...but hey, it works! A tid bit minty and surprisingly refreshing...our Peppermint Bomb Balm kicks Burt's Bees booty!
Anywho, spent the day with ma and pops yesterday. Attempted lunch and a movie, but of course dad wanted to bail after lunch. So we sent him down to See's Candy and went on the hunt for a new sectional to put in the upstairs family room. The candy seemed to keep him interested for a little bit! Found a good contender to fix our couch dilemma. Our current seating arrangement, or lack-there-of, is pretty sad at the moment. Too many kiddos runnin' around to fit everyone comfortably during Sunday family dinners! Was hoping to come home this morning to a new, comfy couch to lounge on...but NOOO. Hopefully soon...
Went to PF Changs last night to use up my gift card...DELISH. Forgot how much I loved that place. Oh, and went to re-watch Black Swan...Natalie Portman HAS to win some kind of handful of awards for her acting in that movie. She was "perfect". (Her coined creepy line from the movie) Speaking of awards, aren't the Golden Globes on tonight?
Smells like Italy in the house now that mom is makin' spaghetti for the masses tonight. The usual suspects are coming, the sibs, their significants, and the babies. But wait...the majority of mom's family is gracing us with their presence as well. Talk about full house! Sure wish we had that freakin' sectional!
Well, it hasn't stopped raining here since God knows when and it shows no sign of stopping! Too bad this wasn't all snow...
Off to cuddle with my puppy and watch the food channel!
