California, here we come.

Took a trip to San Fran and, well, long story short, hated it. The campus wasn't anything special and all the apartments we went to see were in the Tenderloin...AKA...the ghetto. I knew they would be expensive but I didn't expect them to be so small and so dirty and so in the middle of the worst neighborhood in SF. On the third day we decided to wake up at 4am and hop on a flight to LA for some more apartment hunting and a second look at the main campus. Much better. Could've told you that 4 years ago when I first visited! It's beautiful and the campus is huge. The weather is awesome. Beautiful people everywhere. Much more appealing, that's for sure.

So anywho, we decided the second we got off the plane in LAX that it was the place to be. Not to mention, while we were in the SF FIDM housing office, my penny tattoo was bright red and itching like crazy! I think papa was trying to tell me something...

Saw a few great apartments in the DT area and fell in love with the second, in the Gas Company Lofts. Concrete floors, big windows, completely remodeled kitchen and bathroom, open floor plan, and right around the corner from school...and the Nokia theater!

Just got approved and signed the lease so I'm officially moving in about a month and a half! So crazy.

We'll see what happens!
